The guncon is one of the original gray ones (NPC-103). Any ideas? I have an Orion FTV2701A television (I'm pretty sure it's CRT, looks like this) and an original gray PS1. I've been searching all night for an answer to the problem, but the Internet is eerily silent on this issue. I pop in Elemental Gearbolt, and again no calibration, not even a prompt, I pull the trigger and gunshots fire off but despite any aiming nothing is hit. Okay, so let me see what happens with a different game.
Okay, I thought, lemme try this on the PS2 slim and see if anything changes. I unplug the guncon from the PS1 and the game skips the calibration and starts playing the opening cut scene, so I plug the guncon back in and find that the buttons work (A, B, and trigger) but the calibration isn't there. I check the rca connections, and they seem fine (hooked up like in this diagram). I keep shooting and hearing gunshots, but nothing changes. I aim squarely at the screen and pull the trigger.
So I'm all ready to calibrate, when suddenly the message abruptly changes, saying "Check the GunCon connection, and point the gun at the screen." System : Playstation Best Emulator : Epsxe File Size : 511 MB Game Info.
I start up the game and the Guncon Calibration screen comes up, and briefly says "Aim and shoot at the center of the screen" as a blue reticle zooms into the center. It arrived yesterday in pretty pristine condition and I set about hooking it up today based on the abundant guides on the net.
So, I bought the original PS1 Time Crisis practically new in its original box off Amazon from a very well-rated seller. I was getting nostalgic for the games of my youth and started picking up lots of old-school works recently (Silhouette Mirage, Alundra, Incredible Crisis, etc.). The player can also press a button to make Richard dive for cover. The stages typically culminate in boss battles. The player moves automatically, using the light gun to eliminate appearing enemies, after which he can proceed to the next screen.
The cast and crew talk about the original series, coming back with The Return of the Incredible Hulk, and riding that success through The Trial of The Incredible Hulk before wrapping up the trilogy with The Death of The Incredible Hulk.Hi folks, I was searching for solutions to a strange PS1 Time Crisis lightgun issue and found this forum, and was hoping someone here might be able to help. Time Crisis is a rail shooter similar to Virtua Cop in gameplay style. The mini-doc features the Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno, along with Eric Allan Kramer who played Thor, the original Daredevil Rex Smith, Elizabeth Gracen whose spy Jasmin was for all intents and purposes Black Widow, and writer Gerald Di Pego, who scripted two of the three films. This is the Inside Story of the original shared Marvel world, The Incredible MCU That Time Forgot.
Spinning out of the smash hit The Incredible Hulk, Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno took their small screen superhero act to the next level. Time Crisis is a light gun shooter arcade game, developed and released by Namco in 1995, and the first title to be released in the series of the same name. But it's not the first time a shared universe of Marvel Comics characters showed up on screen. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been around long enough now that it's easy to take for granted. You can now step on any of the buttons (X, O, etc) and that will make your character hide. Plug a normal controller in Port 2, and place it on the floor where you can reach it. If you don't have a foot pedal, try this but be sure to take off your shoes first. It's the closest you can get to the arcade without buying a stand-up console. If you have a racing controller with a foot pedal, plug it into the second controller port and use the foot pedal to duck. This gives you five hits in the game instead of three. The words EASY will appear next to the Normal Play mode on the screen. When you choose the normal story mode from the title screen and can choose either Normal Play or Time Attack, shoot anywhere off-screen. THIS MAY ONLY WORK IN THE AMERICAN VERSION. Once that's done, fire another two shots at the center of the crosshairs above the title. The mark, making it a LOT easier to activate the debug code.Īt the title screen, after you've calibrated your gun, fire two shots into the center of the empty part of the letter "R" in the word Crisis". PlayStation on, and when it gets to the main screen, unplug the controller,Īnd replace it with the GunCon gun. Before you turn it on, make sureĪ regular PlayStation controller is in Control port #1.
This code allows you to shoot EXACTLY where you point the gun on the You will see the life-upįorming after about ten straight hits on target then it gets darker and eventually becomes If at any time during the game you make 50 shots on target in a row you
